Terms of use
How Jakkaro works, and what you and we are each responsible for.
These terms describe how the platform behaves. They have not yet been through legal review, and they carry no governing-law or liability position — that comes with the registered UAE entity. Everything stated below is what the product actually does today.
1. What Jakkaro is
Jakkaro is a marketplace for used vehicle parts. Shops list parts, buyers order them, and Jakkaro handles the delivery, the payment and any dispute. We are a party to the transaction, not a noticeboard between two strangers.
2. Who may use it
Anyone may search and browse without an account. To order you need an account, and you must be able to receive a delivery in the UAE. Company and private accounts see the same catalogue at the same prices; the difference is what goes on the invoice.
3. Prices
The price on a listing is what you pay for that part. It includes our margin, and no further charge is added at checkout. Delivery is priced separately and shown before you order: AED 25.00, or free once the parts come to AED 500.00. Prices are in UAE dirhams.
A price is fixed at the moment you order. A seller repricing a listing afterwards does not change what you agreed.
4. Placing an order
An order is a request until the shop confirms it has the part. Nothing is charged before that. If a shop cannot supply, that part is cancelled and you pay nothing for it — the rest of a multi-shop order carries on.
You may cancel at any point before the driver has collected the part.
5. Delivery
We deliver with our own drivers, and there is no self-collection. Two delivery attempts are made; after a second failure the order is cancelled and anything paid is refunded. Full detail on the delivery page.
6. Checking the part
Look at the part before you accept it. If it is not what was described you may refuse it at the door and pay nothing, including the delivery. Once accepted, a problem is raised with us as a dispute — see returns and warranty.
Used parts are sold as used. A listing must describe its condition honestly and must declare defects; a part that was not as described is our problem to resolve, and we do.
7. Payment
Cash on delivery, payment link, or bank transfer on larger orders. We do not store card details. An invoice is issued once an order is paid. See the payment page.
8. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and your contact details current — a delivery goes to the address on the order and a driver rings the number on it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think somebody else has access to it.
9. Using the site properly
Do not scrape the catalogue, do not attempt to reach another account's data, and do not use the platform to arrange business off it. Sellers who repeatedly misdescribe parts are suspended, and their catalogue leaves search the same day.
10. Your data
What we hold and why is on the privacy page. In short: a seller does not get your phone number or address until they have confirmed they have your part, and a driver never sees what anything costs beyond the cash they are collecting.
11. Changes
These terms will change as the platform does. The date at the foot of this page is when it was last reviewed, and material changes will be told to you rather than quietly published.
Anything here that is not clear, ask us.
